Brimstone Restaurant Group Breaks Ground on Pompano Beach House
First Restaurant to Open as Part of the Pompano Pier Redevelopment in Fall 2017
Pompano Beach, FL (November 11, 2016) — Brimstone Restaurant Group is proud to announce the groundbreaking of their highly anticipated concept, Pompano Beach House. Located at 10 North Pompano Beach Boulevard directly on the beach, this will be the first restaurant to open as part of the Pompano Pier Redevelopment. When the Beach House opens in Fall 2017, it will be the fifth concept to open in South Florida for the Ohio-based group. The restaurant will boast 12,000 square feet of South Florida-meets-Mediterranean atmosphere featuring second floor fac stadium seating that offers unmatched ocean views for an incredible outdoor dining experience.
“We wanted to create a concept unlike anything we’ve ever done before”, say JR Anderson, owner of Brimstone Restaurant Group. “It’s an honor to be one of the first restaurants on Pompano Beach, and we are excited to offer the community a unique atmosphere and dining experience. We want guests to feel comfortable walking right off the beach for a bite to eat and know they will enjoy a quality made from scratch meal every time.”
A feature unique to Pompano Beach House is that beach goers will be able to order their meal on the beachside patio while they relax in the sun. The restaurant will offer Brimstone Restaurant Group favorites, as well as new menu items. Pompano Beach House will also feature a full bar with signature craft cocktails, specialty martinis, craft beer and a robust wine list.
“We are delighted that the first restaurant is breaking ground at the Pompano Beach Fishing Village,” said Kim Briesemeister, Principal, Redevelopment Management Associates and co-executive director of the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).”The reinvention of the beach area was one of our highest priorities and now that vision is becoming a reality. The Pompano Fishing Village will soon become dynamic destination featuring terrific restaurants, retails shops, nightlife and more.”
The Pompano Beach Fishing Village stands as an expanded collaboration between the project’s developer Pompano Pier Associates, the Pompano Beach CRA and Retail Sites International. When completed, the village will span more than six oceanfront acres, feature 48,000-square-feet of retail space, and will include a unique pedestrian promenade officially dubbed Pier Street a route that will be used to link the Pompano Beach fishing pier to the Intracoastal Waterway.
